**Prep Cook**

Operations Sandpoint, Idaho Minimum Experience **Experienced** Compensation **$15 per hour + tips**

The ideal candidate for this position is attentive to detail, comfortable with a fast pace, diligent about food safety, committed to maintaining a positive and productive work environment, and most importantly, a team player with a fantastic attitude.

Qualifications

* Capacity to stand for long hours.

* Knowledge of food safety guidelines or willingness to learn.

* Previous experience working in a restaurant setting, preferably in a prep position.

* Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on holidays, as required.

* Willingness to complete online/in-person food safety certification.

Sample Responsibilities

* Perform routine kitchen tasks.

* Follow the prep list created to plan duties.

* Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.

* Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.

* Prepare ingredients for shift by washing and chopping vegetables, pressing patties, and other meal prep.

* Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.

* Undertake basic cooking duties, such as prepping sauces and par-cooking burger toppings.

* Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.

* Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.

* Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.

* Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
